On the 3rd, 10th and 17th of December, we are offering special bookings for permanent jewellery.

We’re very excited to announce on our Christmas late night shopping evenings in Totnes, we will be holding a very special event, collaborating with Westcountry Goldsmiths to bring you permanent jewellery!!!! 
Bring your mum, friend, aunty, partner, your loved one to seal your love for each other permanently. Or just to seal and mark an important time in your life. Our 30 minute appointment times are suitable for 1 - 2 people if you are a party of more than 2 we suggest booking back to back appointments if available. 
We have world renowned master welder Lee Molseed joining us on the three Tuesday evenings to professionally perform the jewellery welds, Lee has been in the jewellery welding industries for well over 10years, he demonstrates welding world wide from America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland Singapore, Thailand, Istanbul and here for you in the uk. He will be welding bracelets with an option to add the classic Rebecca Furze charms such as Frida mini, sulis, Tekhenu, Dot pyramid and options for initial charms, all in silver or solid 9ct yellow gold. 
In the comfort of our seated consultation area, Louise from westcountry goldsmiths will help guide you through the process and you can choose your forever chain and charms, Lee will apply your permanent jewellery and you can relax with an offering of a complimentary glass of bubbly.  
Before or after your permanent jewellery, you can browse the festivities Totnes will have to offer. Sounds like the perfect Christmas night out!

we require a £15 deposit, by selecting your appointment. You will be securing your appointment with a £15 deposit redeemable against your bracelet or anklet

Payment for your permanent jewellery will be taken in store minus your online deposit payment, please present your receipt at your appointment.

What is permanent jewellery? 

Permanent jewellery is a bracelet or anklet that is welded at the join of the chain around your wrist or ankle so it is seamless instead of having a clasp or closure. 

Permanent jewellery is used often as a symbolic piece to represent a permanent bond between you and your loved one or a friend. Or to cement an important milestone in your life. Or simply if you just like the idea of a seamless piece of jewellery with no need for a clasp, that you won’t loose.


Is it painful? 
No absolutely not! It doesn’t come into contact with your skin and is 100% safe
Will it be tight to my wrist/ankle 
No, it will fit the same as any other bracelet or anklet would, it will be measured to your usual bracelet/anklet size. 

What if I need to remove my permanent jewellery? 
We understand there may come a time you may need to remove your jewellery, such as an operation or MRI scan, you can simply snip it with a sharp pair of scissors at the weld join or we can snip it for you and West Country Golsmiths can re-apply the weld when you’re ready to wear it permanently again. 
When should I arrive for my appointment? And how to find Rebecca Furze Jewellery 
You are very welcome to arrive before your appointment to browse our shop, we cannot however accept any late arrivals so please arrive promptly or in good time. If you arrive late to your appointment we won’t be able to perform your permanent jewellery and you will loose your deposit. Please note that it can become very busy on the late night shopping evenings so please allow plenty of time to park or walk. There is some parking right outside the shop on the road. Our nearest car parks are Victoria street, Morrisons and steamer quay car park. We are a 15 minute walk from Totnes train station. Totnes’s famous Yellow ‘Bob the bus’ will be running on each of the nights, it’s a free park and ride service (donations optional) and stops opposite the seven stars pub/hotel just a minutes walk from our shop. The shop is located at the bottom of Totnes on what is called ‘The plains’ on the corner of the Dartmouth square.

Some items are held in stock, however most pieces are made to order and can take 5-14 business days to be dispatched. Please note this is an estimate and during busier times, such as before Christmas, lead times may be longer. Please contact us if you need an item for a specific time.

Jewellery Sizing

Our standard chain length unless otherwise stated is 18 inches, however we do offer other sizes upon request, with some subject to charge.

We offer UK alphabetical ring sizes from A-Z and can make to order any unlisted size or half sizes for a more precise fit. We recommend getting measured at your local jewellery store or purchasing our ring sizer here.

Bangles range from extra small to extra large, to find your fit measure the inside diameter of a bangle that fits you well.

Exchange & Returns

We hope you are happy with your purchase, but if something isn't quite right, you have 14 days from receipt to return or exchange your item.

Please note we cannot offer refunds or exchanges after the 14 day period and some items such as pierced earrings, bespoke or personalised items and made to order items are exempt from refunds and exchanges, so please consider your order carefully and contact us if you have any queries.
